There are a number of markets around the Townsville area. The largest and most attended are the "Willows/Rotary" markets which are held in the Willows Shopping Centre carpark. There are also markets at the Showground and in the Townsville CBD (Flinders St Mall outside the Cowboys Leagues Club).
As it turns out though we've arrived up here just as they are closing down for Christmas and they resume in February, so very soon we'll be getting stuck into creating a variety of artworks and rockers to take along when they resume.
